Empowered

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.  Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.  It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant?  Gorgeous?  Talented?  Fabulous?  Actually, who are you not to be?  You are a child of God.  Your playing small does not serve the world.

There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.  We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.  It is not just in some of us.  It is in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.  As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

From A Return to Love by Marianne Williamson

To claim our power we must face our issues of authority and power. We must learn to trust ourselves not to misuse our powers. The stories we grow up with and the movies that we watch portray our conflict with power. The good and bad are always battling. The truth being that what we are observing outside ourselves is truly in the inner battle we live in some form or another.

Do you feel you stand firmly in your power? Do you manipulate others to get what you want? Maybe you don’t even try to get what you want? Have you given up?

I believe we have all found ways to manipulate for what we desire. What does it mean to be empowered?

Transformation

“How does one become a butterfly?” she asked pensively.

“You must want to fly so much that you are willing to give up being a caterpillar.”  ~ Trina Paulus

Power vs Force

I’m am re-reading this great book by David Hawkins. This is his sinopsis from the beginning of the book. He spells it out then keeps re-visiting it to help you “get it.” I’m re-reading it because well I need to “get it” better. How about you?

“The individual human mind is like a computer terminal connected to a giant database.  The database is human consciousness itself, of which our own cognizance is merely an individual expression, but with its roots in the common consciousness of all mankind.  This database is the realm of genius; because to b human is to participate in the database, everyone, by virtue of his birth, has access to genius.  The unlimited information contained in the database has now been shown to be readily available to anyone in a few seconds, at any time and in any place.  This is indeed an astonishing discovery bearing the power to change lives, both individually and collectively, to a degree never yet anticipated.”

Conflict

There are so many things I would like to do. Lately I’ve been feeling a tug to go back to some things I used to do. Someone who had taken some of my inner exploration classes using art has asked me to teach them again. Very exciting. I hadn’t thought about that for awhile.

Tonight I watched myself bounce around wanting to go in so many directions at one time. I believe this might be the time to make notes. I’ve started an idea book so when part of me wants to run off in another direction I can write it down. Sometimes we do need to follow the “rabbit” so to speak. You know how one thing will lead to another. There is order in chaos. Please make note of that next time you are judging yourself too harshly.

If you don’t believe me check on someone in the middle of a creative process. They may be painting, sewing, or inventing. What ever form the creation takes it can look wild on the outside.

While I was looking for some old course descriptions I taught I found some old notes on conflict. I’m happy that I did. I can use them right now. No accidents here. I do believe they are from the book Power vs Force by David Hawkins. Great book.

Here’s a piece:
“The struggle of win-lose situations indicates that the correct solution hasn’t ben found, as when the assertion of one group’s interests violates those of another, or the rights of the accused conflict with those of the victim. Seek the answer that makes all sides happy and still be practical. Support the solution instead of attacking the supposed causes. Successful solutions are based on the powerful principle that resolution occurs by fostering the positive, not attacking the negative.”

Be Well.

Love Versus Fear

When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace.”  ~~Jimi Hendrix

I found this in the book unfinished business by James Van Praagh.  Good book.

Judgement

“It is so easy to judge another, because judgment places us in a position of power.  When we love ourselves for who we are and love others for exactly who they are, there is very little reason to judge.”    from James Van Praagh in the book unfinished business.

Relationships

People play roles in our lives, they are actors and we have given them a script. They serve a purpose in our journey.

They may reflect something back that you are thinking or feeling about yourself or a belief you’ve energized.

They may share supportive knowledge, wisdom, or insight with you.

They may set something in motion to support you on your journey.

The link below is the wonderful poem based on this topic set to music and pictures.

People come into your life for a reason.

Robert Scheinfeld’s book Busting Loose from The Money Game is so much more than about money. It really is about your relationship to yourself and seeing the illusion of life for the truth of what it is. It helps you to re-claim your power from the illusion.

Claim Your Power

I have read numerous books on creation. This one makes the most sense to me. His method feels like it covers the whole spectrum. It goes deeper than think and so it shall be, or write it down and make it happen. This is about training yourself to see the illusion of life as an illusion. It's about working through your beliefs and images. You aren't sweeping them under a rug and using a lot of energy to hold them down. You are inviting them up. This isn't for the weak. Be ready to commit yourself. Trust that your higher self won't give you any more than you can handle.

This Illusion Called Life

Robert Scheinfeld sets the stage in this book for you to see life as a game. One of the games you are playing is with money. OK so far. I love his work so far. I chose to read this book because it is recommended in both books Matrix Energetics and The Physics of Miracles by Richard Bartlett. He is an amazing creator and healer. I would love to attend his workshops. I'm working my way there through his books so far.

Robert Scheinfeld also references another of my favorite books The Holographic Universe and one of my favorite movies, The Matrix. He has my attention.

Here's one of he's Key Points: You aren't "watching" your Human Game hologram like you'd watch a movie, play or sporting event. Your Expanded Self is simultaneously creating the hologram and popping you right smack into the middle of it as the player of The Human Game.

He goes on to say, "The patterns your Expanded Self creates in The Field is real. But everything else you see and experience in your hologram in Phase 1 of The Human Game is just a holographic illusion. The Human Game is designed to be an ultimate Game that tricks you into believing an illusion is real."

OK, this is juicy. I just wanted to share a bit. My nose is back in the book. Enjoying it on the deck with a pot of tea. Happy dreaming.
