Surfing a Healing Wave

We get unexpected opportunities to heal old wounds and beliefs on a regular basis.  When emotions rise up and often we want to stuff them down or deny them because we on the path that believe in the law of attraction are afraid we are going to create some awful mess.  Let’s remember that our emotions also indicate a movement of energy.  Everything is energy, emotions are energy.  Nothing deadly or harmful.  The more we objectively observe and allow them versus defending against them or denying them the healthier we become.

Let’s say you bought something and it wasn’t exactly what you expected.  There was something that didn’t quite meet your expectation.  You feel a rise of anger and frustration.  You could:

1.  go back to the store and rip into the sales clerk and take out your frustration.

2.  acknowledge what it is you want.

What does this disappointment represent?  As you feel this wave of energy we call anger can you ask yourself what is underneath it.  What does this represent?  Do you feel cheated?  Are you feeling a sense of lack?  Is there a belief that you can’t really have what you desire?

Many times we can’t do this process at the peak of our emotions.  If we can stay with the feelings, that means staying connected to yourself and not projecting the energy at someone else or stuffing or shoving them away with food, drink or activity.  It may mean sitting or standing and being present and feeling.  You will feel the intensity.  The more you allow yourself to feel this the sooner the energy will shift.  I know sometimes it can feel like forever.

If you can allow the wave to take its course you will begin to shift the old pattern that no longer serves you.  You will have opportunities to revisit these issues and as you allow the wave of energy to move through you it becomes less of an issue till someday it’s barely a blip on your radar screen.

Happy surfing.

Energy Conservation

What would it look like if you released you inner conflict today?  What would it feel like?  How difficult do you think that has to be?  Try experimenting with it.  Just set your intention to release YOUR inner conflict for the day and see what happens.

In your eyes I see myself.

This makes a great meditation with a partner. Sitting or standing facing each other. Look into your partners face. Take turns saying, “In your eyes I see myself.”

Isn’t it wonderful when love is reflected back to you. It’s warm and fuzzy. Life is great and so is your partner.

Oh no what about when it’s not so pretty. What about when anger and resentment is reflected back. How are you feeling about yourself? What’s wrong with them?

How am I not loving myself? How can I love myself more? How can I take better care of myself? What am I resenting? What choices am I making?

Thank your partner. What a blessing to see yourself more clearly.

Everything you experience is based on what you decide it will be.  Your experience is what you expect even when you don’t realize you are expecting it.  Make it what you desire by deciding what you want to experience.

Large changes are usually harder for people to maintain.  Like going from poor to winning a huge lottery.  They may be able to accomplish the leap, but not hold onto it.  Reach for smaller changes and allow yourself to consider a new possibility.

Don’t force, push or pull.  Allow.  Allow yourself to feel good.  Allow the energy to flow and the experience will follow.

One of the reasons I enjoy chanting meditations so much is because I embody the vibration of the words and sounds.  You can’t just think you want to feel good.  You can’t just think you want some change in your life.  You need to feel it and embody the vibration of it.

MAKE IT a great day.  FEEL the great day.

Abundance

It’s fabulous outside.  The temperature is perfect and there is a wonderful breeze.  My garden is a haven and I feel expanded and abundant here.  I am particularly abundance in maple seeds.  If I don’t clean out my gutters I end up with a wonderful miniture forest there.  I appreciate it, but other people tend to frown upon the practice of growing a forest in my gutters.  It really looks cute.

Since I’ve been spending more time outside I’ve been noticing this abundance of maples and realized this is a valuable resource I could profit from if I was so inspired.  The universe is delivering, literally on my doorstep and everyone else for that matter the material for a maple tree farm.  Now I don’t know what the demand is for maple trees, but I bet with the right intention and attitude I could make my fortune from this one tree’s efforts to spread life.

How do we move from abundance (maple seeds) to riches.  Right action and passion.  How do you know what right action is?  I believe it comes from listening to your heart very closely.  Not your head, but your heart.  I think we tend to get caught up in our heads.  We need to consciously bring our attention, awareness and energy down into our bodies and feel what’s here.  Feel how your body reactions when you make choices.  Listen to it’s sign language.  You may feel your gut knot up or your legs tighten.  Don’t disregard those things.  They don’t happen for no good reason.

Pay attention to what truly makes you feel good.  Not what you think makes you feel good.  We think and figure way too much.

Feel it.

Lying

Watched the movie “The Invention of Lying” Sunday evening.  Interesting movie from a relationship and creation perspective.  Everyone in the movie is more than telling the truth.  They are always saying what they are thinking.  It was pretty funny.  Then stop and think how often you are thinking things you don’t say.  That’s not always a bad thing, but we should be listening to what we are thinking.  From an energy perspective the vibration of your thoughts is still going “out there.”   There is a level that the other person is receiving it on even if there is no acknowledgment.  They may just feel uncomfortable and not know why.  They may react unpleasantly to you.  They may just ignore the whole thing.  Start to pay attention to how you feel about the people you are around.  What do you think when you are talking to them?  How are they reacting to you?

Everyone in the movie could only tell the truth.  No one knew how to lie.  Except for some reason our main character discovers the ability to lie.  He finds ways to make people feel good.  His “lies” most of the time are ways to consider another possibility or reality.

That’s what we are doing when we want to create a change in our lives.  We focus our energy on other possibilities.  For example if I’m feeling down or depressed and can turn myself around by saying joyful things.  I find just saying positive words gets my energy shifting.

Are we lying to ourselves?  We are creating another reality by considering other possibilities.

Anytime the main character told someone something they believed him.  It’s no different than what every our predominate thoughts and feelings are the “universal energy” or “god” is believing.  It doesn’t know what a “lie” is.

So if you aren’t feeling so beautiful, smart, wealthy, wise, or ??? you fill in the blank.  Start finding ways to start telling yourself otherwise.  Find ways to feel it.  The universe is happy to support your beliefs.

All is Well

Connecting with faith and trust we know all is well.  We know all is well because we also know we influence our experience by our thoughts and feelings.   Thoughts aren’t enough to influence creation.  That’s why many times affirmations don’t work.  You roll them around in your head.  Instead you need to bring the energy down into your body and feel them.  How do you really feel about what you “think” you want to create.  Sometimes we try to bite off more than we are truly ready to handle.  Try baby steps.

“If you know that all is well, you know all you need to know. And if you know life is supposed to be fun, you know more than almost anybody else knows. And if you know that the way you feel is your indicator of how connected you are to Source, then you know that which only a handful of Deliberate Creators, respective to the total population, really know.”

That which is hidden.

I recently felt frustrated over feeling another health challenge.  I asked myself what the conflict was going on in my body.  After talking to a friend about this he suggested I restate the question to ask “What’s hidden that is creating this reaction in my body.”  I put the question “out there” or really “in there” to my subconscious wisdom and guidance.

I wasn’t giving it any thought today when the answer came.  I didn’t realize it at first until I was reflecting on my day later.  In speaking with someone at work I found that several people I work with were sick.  Two of whom I didn’t realize were sick.

Considering this I realize I was handling it quite well.  I also realize the judgement and lack of compassion I had for myself.  I do a lot to maintain my health.  You can check out my Nutrition, Tea and Bio-Mat sections to see some of my favorite ways to stay healthy.
